About the Department

The Molecular Microbiology Department uses nucleic acid amplification technologies to detect HPV, sexually transmitted infections, and vaginal pathogens with high sensitivity.

Testing workflows support rapid clinical decision-making and align with CDC and ACOG recommendations for women’s infectious disease screening.

We perform more than 10,000 molecular assays each week.
