About the Department
The Automated Clinical Laboratory performs high-volume immunohematology, immunoassays, toxicology, chemistry, hematology, and serology testing using modern automated analyzers.
This department supports routine clinical needs with fast, consistent, and reliable results.
All assays are validated to CLIA standards and follow CLSI method performance guidelines.

Our automated systems process tens of thousands of clinical assays each day.

Meet the Team
Dr. Ifeanyi Nwadukwe
Dr. Ifeanyi Nwadukwe leads Florida Woman Care Laboratory with a vision centered on quality, innovation, and collaboration.
Board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty training in Cytopathology, he has over a decade of experience in women’s health diagnostics.
As Laboratory Medical Director, Dr. Nwadukwe oversees strategic growth, AI integration, and clinical excellence across cytology, histology, molecular, and clinical laboratory departments.

Corey Kitchens
With over 15 years of laboratory experience and nearly a decade in leadership roles, Corey Kitchens oversees daily laboratory operations and cross-departmental collaboration.
He holds a Bachelor of Science with a certificate in Cytotechnology and is certified as a Cytologist by the ASCP.
Corey’s expertise in cytology, molecular diagnostics, and quality systems management ensures that Florida Woman Care Laboratory continues to operate with consistency, compliance, and excellence.
Jessica Nelson
- Healthcare professional with over 15 years of experience in diagnostic testing, laboratory quality systems, and regulatory compliance across both military and civilian healthcare environments.
- Military-trained laboratory professional who began her career in laboratory science through U.S. Army medical laboratory training in 2002.
- Laboratory operations leader focused on strengthening quality systems, improving operational efficiency, and supporting high-performing healthcare teams.
Jessica holds two bachelor’s degrees in health-related fields and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), combining clinical expertise with business leadership to support strong healthcare operations and continuous quality improvement. Outside of her professional work, she is a dedicated wife and proud mother of five who values family, travel, health and wellness, and lifelong learning.
